1S (with shortness in clubs and 5-card major, a little stretch in balancing seat)
pass in direct seat. Spade suit is horrible; you don’t really want it led.

In balancing seat, tough call between pass and double. My decision probably depends on vulnerability.
In direct overcall seat, pass.
5. S KQ10xx H xx D AKQx C xx
1S in both seats.

Pass in balancing seat. Partner who is short in clubs could not act, so just pass.
In direct seat, pass, hoping that partner will double back in (trap pass).
p.s. Simply listing the cards is very hard to read. This site has some very good tools to display hand diagrams (I use those tools even though I don’t blog here!)
